Reaching out into our communities is vital to our organization, developing relationships with community leaders, media, school faculty and local civic groups can greatly assist each post in achieving the VFW mission.

 

Our Saturday Morning Veterans Food Pantry often has community members engaged in public service.
     This activity is one option for those choosing community service for traffic infractions.
     Many youth/school groups choose us as an option to fulfill service obligations.
          We have benefited from several BSA Eagle Scout projects.
     We host the "Little Sprouts Garden" summer project.
          Fresh vegetables raised by teaching kids about gardening are donated to the pantry.
